Online timer FAQ: setup, pause and browser storage
Start with a duration, keep the display in view, and know what happens to your saved timer.
Quick answer
Set a duration in PIXELLAS, start it, and use pause or resume as needed. Restart returns to the original duration. Full screen enlarges the view; saved workspace data stays in the current browser and does not sync across devices.
How do I set a 5- or 10-minute online timer?
Open the PIXELLAS timer, set hours and seconds to zero, set minutes to 5 or 10, and start. Keep the page open for the end sound. Test a short countdown first if the alert matters.
What is the difference between pause, resume and restart?
Pause holds the remaining duration. Resume continues from that amount. Restart begins the original duration again and discards that run’s progress. These controls apply to duration timers; a date countdown stays tied to its target instant.
Can I use a full-screen timer without an account?
Yes. PIXELLAS offers a browser timer without registration. Use the full-screen control to enlarge the display; support depends on your browser. Full screen changes the view, but does not prevent device sleep or guarantee an alarm.
Will my timer sync to another phone or browser?
No. Workspace data is stored in this browser’s local storage. Opening the same website elsewhere does not transfer it. Clearing site data or ending some private browsing sessions can remove saved data, so copy important deadlines separately.
